All the SS Pontiacs were knocked out in E-1.
 But in Stock, 4 Pontiacs got past E-2. In Brad & Randi Lyn's heads-up D/SA race, Randi Lyn ran quicker than Brad's qualifying time. BUT, Brad ran even quicker, with a 1.208 under, 10.342 !  http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop |

Well, 3 Pontiacs survived round 3.

Correction
Bringing up this old thread to make a correction. In 2016 & 2017 I showed a pic of Troy Vogel's Stocker as a '72 formy. I did that because that's the car that showed up under his name, on the pic site.
On the Q-lists the car is listed as a '72 Pontiac. So, I just assumed the pic was the correct car. However, for some reason, a guy on the Class Racer forum just posted some pics from the 2016 div race at Bandimere. It shows that Troy Vogel was driving a '72 GTO. Therefore, I apologize to Troy and all here for my mistake. I don't like to put out incorrect info. As always, if any of you guys see that I have made a mistake in reporting on racing, please post the correct info. Thanks ! |
