Got two of them yesterday and your welcome to one of them. Not exact, due to a small detail, but will work perfectly. Give me a call 402-525-3979 and I'll explain.

Don't really know anything about the cars, other than the red 73 is owned by Greg,(who's still suspended I guess?)

The 74 is perpetually for sale seems like from RK.
(is there someone from here who works there?)

Both I would like to own.

I owned the red one twice and sold/traded it recently. It is a GREAT car. One of the nicest driving TAs I've ever had.

Default Another SD for Sale?

This isn't mine and I don't know the car, I had seen it on the Dallas Craigslist site back in October. The listing was "Flagged for removal" so I don't even know if it is available. White with Black interior (Pic attached below). From the pic is seems more like a driver... Pricy at $95K

"Yes a REAL numbers matching original PHS documented 1973 Pontiac Super Duty Trans Am. One of the rarest Pontiacs ever made and considered the 5th rarest muscle cars ever. Only 252 Super Duty Trans Am Pontiacs were made in 1973 and this one only has 31,386 original miles. First of all I want to mention - as shown in the pictures - the rims and tires – on the car now are larger rims and larger tires that are not original to the car but will include the original rims in the sale. Next the paint is the original paint except for the front nose which was painted about seven years ago due to rock chips. Originally this car had the small bird decal on the front nose and since that nose was repainted it has not been reinstalled. This car has been garaged and stored and is very clean. You may never ever find an original numbers-matching 73 Super Duty Trans Am (survivor) like this one. Another added bonus with this car is the options it has factory AC, rear-defrost, 8-track tape deck and more options that you will not see in most other Super Duty's. The windows are in near perfect condition, the body is in excellent shape, the interior seats are near mint condition and the car is fast and runs great. Call 972-922-0279 for all details about this great car."

Brewster - The red one was for sale Earlier this year. See previous listing. Gorgeous Car!

Here is a rarely seen 74 sd 455 cordova top car. I wish they would have left it on. It's on Ebay now.

I usually like the V-top cars, but not sure the black top on a white car would look that great. I would still restore it with the top, just for the uniqueness....

Indeed, I would too. It's such a different look for a trans am, especially a monster with a 455. never seen one other than in pics.

SD intake question. I ahve an original SD 74 intake that was taken off a running car. I had an offer to trade for the original SD intake that came on the white car I acquired. the only difference from what the guy told me is the casting has LS2X where mine has LS2.Any opinions? If I remember the intake I have came on a air cond car. My original 74 has LS2 also.Soooo-guys.
Last question I am getting parts together for a stock rebuild of the SD white car's engine.I wa sthinking of using a good '103' crank that I have as the original crank was not with the car. I thought about a new crank($ and foreign) but just for occasional shows and dragging I didn't think I needed a new crank. I was going to have the '103' checked-stroke corrected, polished. Now who do I trust to do the machining? Soooo.I asked for it! Bob

My understanding is that the LS2 is a 73 Intake and the LS2X is a 74 Intake. I have seen LS2X Intake's with late 1972 Date code's.

sdbob, what date was your car built? That will tell what intake should be on it. 73 and first part of 74 used an LS2 intake, later 74 used the LS2X. Also post the part # on the LS2 intakes. 73 and first of 74 were different #s and by chance if you have a 73 intake it's worth a lot more than a 74.

Went to the track yesterday and had a blast. Ran a best of 14.24 but got outrun by everything that I lined-up against. With me in the car and almost a full tank of gas the scales read 4185 lbs.
