Fantastic job on the restoration by Steve (Musclecar Memories in Lincoln, NE). I was parked next to the car at the POCI convention in St. Charles last year. Steve had just completed the restoration for a local gentleman. Someone just bought a terrific Brewster Green SD.

Not really smiling today because I really did not want to sell it. However you do what you have to do. Had to pay the landlord his rent and Ive got a few other cars I want to restore, those require $$. Restored hood latches are not cheap these days .

Thanks. The sale of your car helped justify mine. Mecum didn't think it would do 150 and where hesitant to take it at my reserve. I sold a 70 Ta yesterday for a little less than I wanted to just so I would not have to drop the reserve on this one early.

From the broadcast it appeared that you had Dana, Frank & a 3rd MECUM person working you to take reserve off @ the $150k mark - yes? ...and then the delay allowed it to pop to $185k.
Good for you!

Yes they wanted me to drop the reserve. I told them it wasn't happening. Either it gets to the reserve or it would have gone home on my trailer.

Must be Very Few bidders on sunday.
Right now cars are going through about like a livestock auction on the webcast.

Bad day to be No Reserve

I saw it in person. Not very nice. I got a bad feeling just looking at the repainted dash pad and dash frame area under the windshield.
