Steve just loves to tease you guys and you eat it up every time! It's really funny! Sort of like guys going to a strip club really thinking that the girl who winks at you is going home with you!
But I bet that by this summer there's going to be alot of hunters down there in Tulsa finding those bone yards IF they exist and then Steve will out of the hunt. So the teasing will probably back fire. |

Out of towners will never find them; 99% sure, unless you get help from locals. I might give up a couple, because I know it won't do any good for the fact the old geezers won't talk to most people. Depends if you bring Jack with you.

There used to be quite a few old places like that around my zone. Then it was just a few. None anymore. Count me down on the jealous chart.
Around here when the old guys stop doing business or die, everything gets recycled very shortly - usually nobody finds out until it's all over with or close to being finished. Sucked the wind out of me everytime. Takes a chunk of your heart feels like when you pull up and see it gone. SO WHATS UP WITH THE 68 Steve ? Was it sold by your family dealer. Surely it's not a II Car or you'd already heisted it out with a helicopter or something. |

Worthless III Judge In Tulsa
This is a prime example of what can be found in Tulsa, this pic was taken of a III. Some people might call this a worthless car because it’s not a IV or ragtop, or maybe because it is un-restored. This pic is from 1980 ish right when it was bought by G.D., original owner said he picked it up from the dealer with the trim rings? This car probably got driven a few hundred miles and then stored away; where it has been for the last 20+ years in this basic same condition as the picture. Again a worthless turd III car.

Worthless HO In Tulsa
This was saved from one of the secret shut down yards around Tulsa about two years ago, not a Pontiac but I'm sure you can appreciate the effort.

Come on ... pics of the wife doesn't tease these guys enough!! You've got a good audience. I'm hearing some of them panting now!
Too funny. |

I got a new project out in the garage for the wife to work on, now if the weather will just get warmer.
This is my favorite Judge rescue pic, I had nothing to do with it and don't know where it was but I think it's cool. |

All we need is an ounce or two and some Jack, the party is on.

There was a "not really a junkyard junkyard" in quebec right at the Vermont-quebec border that had about 30-40 GTO's and a few GP's. Condition varied from good decent drivable cars to the tree growing through them variety.
The owner had been collecting them since the 60's and many were American cars that he had brought across the border illegally so he was not to keen to let anyone look around. I remember a line of several Carousel red Judges, a few convertibles (one looked to be a Judge convertible but there was almost nothing left of it), a 4spd 73 and a bunch of 455 70-72 goats. Tried a few times to buy all-some-one but never got anywhere, his pricing was about 20 years ahead of the curve. About ten years ago they all disapeared, I heard that they went into the US.

North, that is a cool story. Any chance you took any pics of that place? That would be a sweet sight.
This is a buddy of mines house here in Tulsa, you just can't go wrong with this collection. The 68 is a II and there is a Ralle 350 and a 69 TA way up in there. |

steved400, Afraid I do not but I think "Robz" knew a bit more about what happened to those cars, maybe he has some clips.

Here some pics of my great grandfathers old Pontiac dealership in Muskogee, and my uncle on prom night. My uncle ordered all the Pontiacs there from 68 to 84. We think that's my dad crawling behind the real old one.

steved400,
You should think about writing a book. You've certainly got enough photos for one. |
