Here's the exhaust shop in Bend:

NW S/D- you ever seen a yellow '64 Ford Falcon in Bend (zoomies, injected 427, and tubbed). I was down there with my dad, visiting his friend with the Falcon and thought it was a nice place.

That's a nice facility. Yes, a true mandrel bending shop. That's why the cost is prohibitive. Notice how they are also a dealer of many aftermarket mandrel bent systems? It's actually cheaper for the company that has their own bender to buy a boxed exhaust than to make them! Many local shops will say they mandrel bend when in fact they compression bend without wrinkles. That's still a long way off from mandrel bending.

Reviving this thread for a question for Ccass. I see that you stated that you can run a 3" tunnel x into 2.5" to the 2.5" crossflow muffler. My question is, can you then come out of the 2.5" crossflow with 3" tail pipes?

@NEW SD: What have you done to get your SD into the elevens? I am building my SD right now and would be grateful if you would share your combo.

73TA:
I just got word that the 3" drive tunnel X-pipes are now in stock. If you've got one on order, I'd expect them to ship sometime next week. If you haven't placed your order yet, now might be a good time
