Test worked! I am now Mark & my E-mail is correct[ no more Hoggman ] Now back to brakes,My main question is will this wilwood setup work on the street? The reason i ask is Summit states race only. Is that because there is no park brake?

I have had them on the street for 6 years, the reason is the rotors are not real thick. If its a daily driver and you drive 15000 miles a year, they are not for you.Tom

I'm just finishing the disc conversion on my '63 LeMans. Jim and Tom S. were very helpful to me, thanks guys! I bought the template for the adapter plate from Ric Johnson, and he sent me a complete parts list and assembly tips. I'll know in two weeks at the track how good this set-up is. I can email pics of the project if anyone needs them.

In my JUne 29-2001 post I mentioned about a guy putting front discs/spindles from an 84 Buick Regal on a 63 Tempest. He finally got them on and they didn't increase his tread width by more than a half inch or so as I remember. He got some ball joint/tie rod ends by picking through stuff at an auto parts store. It looked like a good setup. The front wheels standing out a little made the stance of the car look good. He told me that he hadn't had any problems with it on the street. (IF you did that swap you want to make sure the lug bolt patterns front-to-rear are the same (if it matters to you).
