Goatman does your O2 sensor work with race gas ? or get fouled after awhile? Or is it a pump gas motor.

VERY impressive numbers with no tuning. That is over 550 at the crank. It should be up around 550RWHP once the tuning is done to it.

Goatman, Impressive numbers. Your right about the covertors screwing up the dyno. My car made only 364 to the wheels and everyone kind of smirks until you smoke them. The car has run 11.49@118 in very poor weather. According to all the hp calcs it should take 445 rwhp to move a 3500lb car that fast. I don't care what anyone says WE DON'T RACE DYNO's, good tuning tool and great for bench racing but in the real world it really doesn't matter what the numbers are as long as it's fast

Exactly as you stated, my car only dyno's 417rwhp, but it holds it across the board. I raced a car that has 545rwhp/515rwtq and a manual trans, to mine, and my car was side by side from 20-120mph...

As long as my car runs the number I don't care about the dyno numbers, now the air/fuel that is critical!

It's a 13:1 or 14:1 (I forget which, sorry) motor, so it's definitely not a pump gas motor.

So how long do the sensors last with leaded gas?

There have been some posts on the S S/S board about this subject. If I remember correctly a season or less but no one specified how many events or passes they made in a season.

Yup, and I think the torque is a little more than that, I think it was 535, but I am not 100%sure.
It was fast!!!

Skip our sensors last about 50 hours on leaded gas on our dyno.

Wide band, we keep an extra in stock just in case one goes out.

Got back in around midnight.

No tuning, off idle:

10.66 @ 125 mph.......

Bent one of my rear wheels (long story) Friday afternoon, after already replacing one of my brand new front tires when something along the return/pit road took a chunk out of it.

Had a great time, got to meet Marty Palbykin and had him take a look at my car. Tom Vaught was right there as well. They both feel there is another 75HP hiding in the tune up after looking at the data and watching the car.

Should be a fun summer once I pay for all of this and get the EFI tuned!
