don't buy the belted red lines. They bump until warm and sway on curves. I have the firestone redlines on my 66 gto. they came on it and were new when i bought the car. Go with the new radial red lines. Don't drive on 40 year old tire tech. And the cragers always look nice.

Bias ply redlines have a look that belong on a muscle car, and the tread pattern is part of the look, IMHO.
I just bought a set of Firestone redlines from Coker for my 6bbl Roadrunner and a set for the Judge will be next. Sure, they don't ride as good, but these aren't my daily drivers and I want the period correct look.

I agree, ride suffers, but Radial Tuned Suspension was not offered on these cars either, and they developed it for a reason. I sacrifice the ride for the look, and I drove on these tires for years anyway, so not a big deal to me. Again a matter of personal preference. I don't care for the aggresssive stance of some of the repo radials, but that's just me.

Ok, I have decided that I want P225/70R14 Firehawk Indy 500 Tires on my goat. The tires are $280 in stock form, $760 with red-lines...almost a $500 upcharge for redlines--SAME DAMN TIRE. I cannot justify.
