Ron Francis Wiring has several FAQ's on Ammeters - and basically says we use voltage gauge for a reason.
a 12Si can easily put out more amperage than you factory gauge can handle. And there is a good reason we regulate the voltage with car electrical systems, so 1-wire isn't ideal. Great for a race car, not a street car. |
