I bumped into Joel here on the boards, then at Famoso, during the ET Finals in 2004, and I went to Reading once...

I think he was in the mid 11's, I do have a timeslip from the trip to Reading, we were paired up, but the slip is back in GA and I am in NC...

Next time I go home to GA I'll see what he was running...

It was a 428 with a Torker spreadbore manifold and a Holley square carb...

Nice car, for sure...

sounds correct bird..his son said he had a 10.34 timeslip marked with nitrous.i think the engine can do better.

it is a neat little beastie for sure..needs a lot of suspension rework..but it will run on pinks first..

funny the ad said torker also..but its a spread bore nash intake(warrior copy)

say what ya like..i wouldnt have believed it myself, except i was driving..my pals and neighbors were quite impressed..cant wait to truly tune this doodle in..the motor will make more power than what the previous owner got out of it, and the suspension can be adjusted for better bite as shown already..brand new slicks help a lot too..

due to lifes worrys, i havent been able to play with a car like this for almost 10 years..other peoples cars, yes..but not mine..i am hoping for low 11's for pinks, but im sure within weeks at our local grudge wars it will be a single digit ride with just a tickle of nitrous..i will surely post some pics from the pinks deal..my ss nova left today to get a new blown bbc heart..it should be a really fun deal, even if we dont get picked to race..

we have a guy that videos at the track on grudge nites, but who knows..somebody might catch me match racing on a country road soon..

It'll be awhile before I can get over. In a mad rush to get my LeMans on the road before the POCI convention.

Anybody else going? End of next month at Bass lake in yosemite.

I know this is the race section but just to add to to my post-I had a
new Thermostat installed - went back down to 180 degrees.

Every thing was fine and I was on my way to California.
