So good you could always build them for a living - kind of a designer tree house expert.

Making progress - got the 4 loft beams up two weeks ago, and Cate & I did the T&G Cedar decking on it and the ceiling on both sides yesterday & today. Put an outlet up there in case they wanted a clock or a lamp. Loft is 8' wide at the deck and 7'-7" deep. I've got carpeting for it too.

Just pee out the back window Mike, the deck only goes on 3 sides. If we have to I can put a toilet seat on a sheetrock bucket for you.

Looks GREAT Boss! Your kids are very lucky to have you. I was going to ask; what kind of outlet are you installing and if it was one of the ones with the internal breaker?

I wasn't planning on doing GFI outlets - was just going to use standard (black) outlets and black face plates - to blend into the stained wood. I was going to run them through a switch in the house (like a post light) so I could kill power for the majority of the time.

Looks great..... now it's time to addon and expand. Before you know it the kids will be grown and need a place to raise their families. And it's just too small as it is now. LOL
