Here's another
Thanks Dominick, here's one more.
She really needs to be lowered but I want to drive it around some to see how much the front settles. We're working on a front air dam something like GTO Johns and a few more things. On this pic you can see where we got rid of that flat area on the valence for the license plate. Also extended the middle part of the valence up to reduce the gap there.

Sandalwood "gold edition" in the '69 pattern
The plan is to use a black dash, carpet and center console similar to a parchment interior but with the "comfort weave" fabric.

295/50x15s on 15x8 Rally II repos or 285/40x17s on Junkyard dawgs. With the Boyds you can see the new Wilwood brakes.

New Dash and wheel in
Still have some wiring to button up but I'm liking the look of the dash sans the woodgrain with the Formula wheel wrapped in leather. When I bought the car it had the 70' 140mph speedo. I think it will do it....

Borgeson Steering shaft with u joints
Here you can see the new rag joint-less steering shaft I installed today. Tomorrow I'll be working on the hydroboost lines.

That wheel looks awesome, wrapped in leather!
BTW, that 140 MPH speedo looks like it came out of a '69 or '70G/P as they were the only ones with that style of numbering around (smaller)...The '70-'71 GTOs 140 MPH speedo looked like this one below (off a '70 Judge)...I have one I took off a '70 GTO back in the early 80's and it was date stamped Aug 15, 1969, on the back...

Good catch Rob, I didn't realize that. If I would of known earlier I might of tried to source a more correct one before putting the dash back in.
How difficult is it to replace a speedometer with the dash in?

Nearly impossible...Ask me how I know...
 Mt guages are almost perfect except for the 2 little screws holding the faceplate of speedo to mechanism...They are a bit rusted and stand out..previous owner never swapped them out and I don't feel like removing my dash out now as it is original and I'm afraid I may (and Murphy's law may help me out) crack it while manipulating it...so I just left it for now...
