Can you guys tell me the basic difference between regular Rhoads lifters & V-max ... I have been running regular Rhoads for 4-5 years
with no-problems .. I do preload at about 1/8'' down ... The car is a NHRA 350 ci. Pontiac Stocker, with a 364/364 lift Hyd. cam ... Use to run real fast, but have lost a couple of tenths in the last two years... Looking to make some changes ? It's a 77 Formula Firebird , that weighs 3800 lbs. w/driver & run's 12.20's at 109 MPH, 1.60 (60') t-200 metric , with 9" Hoosiers & Q-jet, stock manifold,6X heads (stock) 92 cc....
thanks in advance for any idea's .......... Dave...1033/stock(RV-455)

the vmax's are pretty flexible meaning you can adjust lash for the desired bleed level......they really act like solid lifter......

from Rhoads:

"They increase low-end torque and engine vacuum up to 50% more than Orginal Rhoads Lifters...and they rev higher too. This makes them the best choice for hot street, performance marine and all racing applications"
