Thanks Dude and everyone who posted. The valve covers are off BRV421 so you are hearing the rockers in the open air.

Thought I would update this thread:
Turns out the intake was leaking at the exhaust crossover on the divorced choke side which is also the side of the intake mismatch for the 6X heads and older intakes. When the intake came off I could see the carbon build up around the place that was leaking. |
