Good thread ......... I`ve got a 06 fatboy. Bought it new, had the screaming eagle kit installed, light package on front, removable windshield, Brandywine color, was told only 2 Brandywine colors were sold in British Columbia .

here ya go Poncho , a chinese scooter will start @ $800 for a new small body one chinese . I have a larger one with bigger tires and paid $1600 new . they even have trikes , lol .
but honda and yamaha make scooters too .
Also check out a company called Tomos , i think its european and i hear quality is great , i wish i got one of those ...

I just got my motorcycle license this spring. Originally I had planned on just getting a 50cc scooter to get to work (save gas). Then they told me in my state you need a motorcycle license even for one of those!
Instead for a couple hundred dollars more I bought a Suzuki DR200 dual sport. It's actually pretty fun and it gets close to 80mpg. The only photo I have is a cell phone one I took at the dealer when I bought it.

Here's mine...1st pic is the family pic..2nd up is the rarest Harley davidson made in the year 2000 and one of the rarest ever..it's a 2000 MT-500..one of 169 known built at Harley's York,Pa. plant...the British military used quite a few in the 90's thru early 2000...the 2nd is a 1991 Kawasaki KLR250 M1030 military bike made for the USMC...the 3rd is a 1975 Condor A350 made in Switzerland with a Ducati engine..fairly rare, one of 3000 made for the swiss between 1973 and 1976.

A picture of my latest Triumph. It was choppered out a bit when I got it. It's been my bike project for the past year or so. Through swapmeets, e-bay, Craigslist etc. I found the stock parts and put it back to original.

My old bike, 2004 ZX-10R Kawasaki. 175HP + ~400#'s = land rocket! It's lowered, tinted shield, GPR steering damper, as well as polished wheel lips and polished stock exhaust. I believe I had about 18k miles on it when this pic was taken in 2006. I'm currently bikeless!

I'm diggin' on those classic superbikes. My first was a '85 Honda Interceptor which was a transition bike for me as I had ceased my dirt bike riding days and gone to the street.
Now, after a 20+year hiatus from the dirt, I am back in it with vintage motocross.
I must say that with my return to the dirt 3 yrs ago, I have won two back to back class championships in our local motocross series on vintage yamaha YZ's.

I owned this for a couple of years.

It had 4 gears and you could take of in 4th leaving a 150ft long 3 inch deep trench.
That thing was 100% fun , destroying rear fenders in attempting wheelies for the girls and getting a face full of dirt.

Here are some of mine.

A couple of action shots of my 89 KDX200E back in the day....the only vehicle I've ever bought new. Only a few of the U.S. spec models came in, I ordered mine in late Jan or early Feb of 89...finally got it in July IIRC. Paid $4499, the wait was agonising. Sold.

Next is my old 90 model RGV 250...bought it secondhand, but it was really low kms. Teenager, learner permit, got it and immediately went out and topped it out at 200kmh. Took it to a street meet and, IIRC, went 13.2 at 96mph. Might only be a 250, but they were/are a ton of fun. Photo has Christmas Day 1990 written on the back...21 bloody years ago..jeez. Sold.

Next is my 89 GSXR 1100K, still have this in the shed but have done bugger all with it for way too long...let the rego run out a couple of years back stupidly too.
Bought it off the original owner in 91(?) put an Ohlins shock in it, Maxton fork cartridge kit, stuck a 5.5" 750RR wheel in it (4.5" stock), genuine RGV M model short small indicators front and rear, tinted screen, polished rear sets,the sliders and rim edges and repainted the wheels black. I've had a couple of different pipes on it over the years, currently a stainless supertrapp.

10.60's at 129mph with the pipe and 1 tooth off the front and 2 up on the back being the only mods. Indicated 260kmh with a little bit left too. Couldn't sell it for the price it would bring. Might get enthused again one day?....or I'll just end up the crotchety old man with it rotting in the shed telling stories to the young whippersnappers about how fast it was and how it's not for sale!
