finally had to start bugging the guy to go ahead and finish the print on the bezel
so he finished it up this morning. there were a couple of little spots that didnt turn out so good but its cool. the first pic shows the base coat which is a mix of brown and burgady. then came the gold carbon fiber finish, then came the black outlines, then came clear coat and buffing. i think it looks great!! after a few hours of putting it back together today, i will get to put the wheel back in and test the gauges. we were gonna do the same thing to the glove box door vinyl and the corner piece vinyl but while removing the gbd piece, it cracked and cant be used. so we will use some thin roofing tin and cut it to fit then finish it. i can wait on that a lil while tho. |

Thanks MATE!! its been a tedious process but its really coming along. here are a couple more pics. today i was able to get the seats put back together. I couldnt afford to redo the seats and door panels so i just took a rattle can of vinyl paint and and plastic paint and scrubbed and painted the seats and plastics up really good. next i took the tracks off and painted and lubed them up really good. I put the column back in. put the stereo back together and i'll be driving again soon.

I would consider moving the stereo into the glove box or idea made like a 8 track box with that nice finish to set that dash off .
![]() Another idea i have been toying with moving the fuse box up into the glovebox with isolator . Your dash has made me think about redoing mine and rewire ( fix up ) my wife will kill me
