I had an occasion to point judge Neil's red Judge once about ten years ago
and I would have to say that I've never seen a nicer 69 Judge than that car.......it's about as perfect and correct as a 69 Judge can be. Whoever winds up with that car is indeed very fortunate. |

Neil's car is a great example, no question about it. But since it is for sale, would it be so crazy to talk about what it may be worth?

Low production, Award winning, Numbers matching, Top notch restoration with no corner cut.
It is worth every penny for a 1969 RA IV 4 speed Judge in a Non CR car. IMHO

I have to say my opinion is based on what I have heard and seen (TOP example of a numbing matching/correct to the NOS mufflers 1969 RA IV 4 speed Judge)about the restoration, and have seen his work on a Brewster 73 TA SD 4 speed car that was recently sold.
HTH...

Very nice car. Great if you owned a museum. Not so much if you wanted one to drive.

The car is worth whatever someone will pay. I do know there are 4 other '69 RAIV 4spd Judges located in or around the Minneapolis metro area that you could not purchase for less than $150k for any one of them. Neil's car is a better quality restoration than any of the other four, so you can judge for yourself. I am not sure if the Cofell car is numbers matching or not. As others have chimed in, this Matador Judge is an exeptional car and probably the best example in the country today. Definetly an investment grade vehicle. When was the last time a car is this caliber actually sold? $225k/bo is not a pie in the sky number for this car either. I've seen it in person and it should be worth close to that if it were to go over the block somewhere. Just my opinion, but if anyone has the jing to spare for a concourse show car, this is the car you want. Anyone who is serious should contact Elaine directly.
First photo is from the 2005 Land of Lakes Muscle Car Classic where the Judge was in the Winners Circle. Neil is seen in the Hawaiian shirt surveying his detailing work prior to judging. Second and Third photos are from the 2006 Muscle Car Classic where the Judge was the Winners Circle Champion from the prior year and had received the Award of Excellence. Final Photo is of Neil driving through to receive the Paul Zazarine Award after the 2006 event. Paul himself was there to hand out the award that day. As you can see from the photos I took, the Judge is a stunning example of Pontiac's Holy Grail- the Ram Air IV Judge. |

How rough was the car when Neil restored it? Did people up there know about the car back in the 70'S early 80's?

Still available at 225k. This car will probably bring the money at a certain Jan auction in Arizona.

Let it be known to all this is a real 1969 RAM AIR IV 4sp JUDGE.
I sold Neil this JUDGE and took it to him. I have the PHS and pictures of the car when I bought it.The car is what it is now, STUNNING! LET IT (HIM) REST IN PEACE.

I really like the car.
Paul Glasgo's black Judge, even though not real, was a fantastic job, that was dialed in to run mid-12's on redlines, for 20 cents on the dollar in comparison. Looking back, that was deal. |

Ebay pics are from 2004. Has anyone seen what it looks like today. Nine years can make a huge difference. I'm reminded of that every time I look in the mirror.

Neil always kept meticulous care of his vehicles and probably kept it in a climate controlled garage. I would bet the car looks the same today as nine years ago. Anyone serious should contact the seller directly.
