My father used to say: "looks like it was magnetized and dragged through a J. C. Whitney Catalog!"

It hurts to look at it!

PS on the color factory shot, I'm ga-ga for the deep offset 8-lugs and redlines. Yum!

If you bought this car Mark, you could maybe "Donk" it out and add a little of your own style to enhance the car's street cred!! Mark look at this as an opportunity to demonstrate your car building skill and improve the "perfect" darksider, tell Steve about it and offer it for his future museum. Lee

What blows me away is the $37,000 price tag...

I need to appologize to the owner of this car.
I have to retract my first impression and the comment about "throwing up in my mouth" when I posted a thread about this car. My wife put it all in humble prospective. I showed her the car and explained how I felt about it. Right away she said, "well, someone may think that about your car since you cut it up so much", sheesh, I hate when she is right.
So I apologize to the owner of the car and anyone that likes the car. As I've stated about comments made about mine, it is my car and I can do what I like and want to. If you built this car, it is your car, I may not agree but I do not have any say in it. Just preference and that I can and should keep to myself. The workmanship on the car does look to be exceptional and the excecution of the modifications were done well. It is well done for the concept. Above all, it is a '63 Pontiac. That alone makes it worth looking at.

That car was built a long time ago; it has been running around Phoenix for decades. As some here have said, not really my style, but there are aspects of it that I like, and the workmanship looked good.

Default apologize ??

Mark I know that you meant what you wrote and you are a good hearted guy and I should stop writing right now,,,, but I can't help myself. Let's get real-- If I owned this car and drove it to my local Sat. morning dognut get together with all the other car guys, I am sure that more than one car guy would spit coffee all over himself at the first sight of this fine Poncho and there would be huge smiles and some outright laughter within earshot of said Poncho!!!!! We live in enough of a P.C. world as it is. I say we don't need it here with fellow Darksiders and all of us should wear are "Big boy pants" and feel free to comment on the obvious...just sayin.....Lee

Thank you Lee for that. I can't control the thoughts or the mouths of others but I can control mine. I could have been for constructive in my criticisms instead of out right mean, and destructive. You're right about people at a car show being shocked and laughing at it but there are those that like it. They have every right to do it as they see fit. Anyway, I'm only advocating that I be more tolerant, not saying the world as a whole should back off. Criticism is a very strong motivator. Constructive criticism is an even greater tool. Anywho, I don't want to stifle anybody's creativity. It does not mean I can't still think it but I can temper the voicing of it. Now--on with the show--LOL.

there may have a point in that car's life where it wasn't too bad, but the urge to update was overwhelming.

that being said, i'm pretty sure duff man would drive the **** out that car.

OK y'all for posterity:

I will now post Pics of the JCW magnet car and one I just found that show a similar concept. Check out the wagon in the background of the Pic.- its got more people looking at it. I think it is Chicago Auto Show but not sure. I wonder what motor that is sitting on the stand with the white headers on it.
