Fortunately for me my wife has been great about it......she gave up the garage without complaint and didn't even say a word when she came home and found the windshield and back window stored under our bed! She has cringed a little about the $$ but she gets it so all is good.

Congrats BKS. Good to hear it's one that will live again to see the highways.

One other thing I wanted to throw out there is I almost didn't take on this project since the car was too far gone but decided to anyway. If anyone else is looking at a project and not sure where to start there are quite a few great resources available that helped me quite a bit, I purchased a bunch of books, many of which are members of this forum such as Mark Savitske, Cliff Ruggles, Rocky Rotella's book is a wealth of information on the Pontiac V8 and I think every GTO owner should have a copy of Paul Zazarine's book "Pontiac GTO Restoration guide". These guys are very accessible and willing to answer questions and share their knowledge.
