Anthonygazz, for what it's worth The LS route is my preferred direction and I have done quite a few... Rather than spend the bread on a blower that comes on way to violently with a decent LS,,, you may want to consider a simple stroker kit for the LS.. The swap kit is an easy part of a rebuild and you should be good for around 5-550hp with the same money spent in the end result and heat or maintenance issues....

thanks for the input and a great idea to stroke the LS, gonna have to do some convincing on my end towards my father though hes quite hardheaded lol.

We've also ultimately decided on the LS2 but we really appreciate the feedback from everyone and im sure ill be hitting all you guys up with more questions as the build continues
