If it's what you want, I say do it, Phil. Needless to say, you're not a first time novice at doing a project car. I've built cars out of much rougher looking pieces and those pictures don't scare me.

Yup. I hear this. While it's not for the squeamish, it isn't like you've got a complete basket case on your hands. You can probably make some money off of the ones you don't use too (get them running and stopping and you can easily double your money) so if you aren't afraid I still think the price for 3 complete cars isn't outrageous.

And like Mark said, they aren't money makers, but I don't have the feeling that is your motivation. If you do it, pick the more-doors down to the bones for the better pieces for re-use or selling.
Wait until fall or winter when scrap prices are high and recoup what you can.

They look pretty nice for their age. I have two Pontiac wheel covers just like the ones on one of the cars at home I bought at a garage sale. They are like brand new.
