University's done, moved my daughters stuff back home, then my sons. My little Home Depot trailer keeps coming in handy but I'm getting tired of this routine.
Glad the forums are back up.

Default Got her running again

After nearly a year of bad Tempest problems discouraging me from touching them, I finally got the ambition to get back in to the Tempests.

[IMG][/IMG]

After finding my knock in the motor of the light blue convertible was just a couple brass screws from my choke plate that (not so mysteriously loosened with a little help from some revengeful genius at work) and fell in. I had to pull the motor out again because I anxiously reassembled the oil pan too quickly to ensure the rear seal was in proper position. Yay me!lol

Finally have one of the three '62's running again. Next is to get the yellow '62 Lemans to shift and get started in getting my '72 bird back on the road from it's 13 year rest, including body and paint.

I prepped for and went through a major audit at work. Man I could've used the forum during that time as a diversion....

Hung out in the ICU and CCU with my mom for 4 days. Timing is everything! Maybe she scheduled her valve replacement around it

I had the front and rear seats in my GT-37 recovered in Ivory (parchment leather) and just got them back on Friday. Holy crap they look awesome. I made sure the guy doing the work made them look like stock GM vinyl seats. Even the head rest are all leather.
