Mine too, but I'm planning on finishing a couple little things today before taking it off of the jack stands. It's been out of action since the fall of 2012. I'm planning on testing Friday night with my new CVMS/H&M Airflow Dynamics ported E-head 467. Hopefully my old slicks still hook, and I'm not sure whether or not the new engine will like the old ethanol tune-up. I guess that's why they call it test-n-tune.

Check your wear indicators. I didn't do that for Pontiac Heaven and wasn't able to run as a result. I didn't realize I had so many passes on those slicks before I shut it down to do my blower conversion a couple years ago.

I have two sets and both have plenty of rubber, but they have benn sitting in my garage for too long!

Traction or not, I'm getting ready to burn some rubber!

Oh yeah, my car is still on jack stands, I might have to take Friday off, so I can finish putting this junk back together.

I'm playing with a baby Poncho, and new-ish to the game. As a result I'm in a different category than most of you guys.

14.33 @ 96, at Pontiac Heaven on 4/18. Best time to date in my 67 FB. Jim, you were there. I will easily have 13's out of it once I get fuel delivery ironed out. The pieces are coming together, slowly but surely.

New cooling goodies are en route, and I just got done ordering a new carb. Not sure when the next time I'll be at the track. Summer out here in AZ is sorta like winter in other places. I scale back a little due to the heat.

It's been so nice the last week, I'm hoping to go out this Friday or Saturday night here at SIR in Tucson. I installed my new belts and window net and got my new slicks mounted and installed. Hoping for a 1.1X 60-foot. We'll see.

I finally got mine out for test and tune. Just have the street engine in it. No clean runs. Rev limiter comes on early, linelock wouldn't hold it so no transbrake starts. Shifter wouldn't shift. 5.90 1/8. 80mph

Turbo 400 wouldnt go into 3rd. Had to let off. Light car maybe 2500 lbs with driver. Pump gas 535. Small cam 259/268 I think about 700 lift. HP heads 10:1 compression. Unported victor intake. 1050 carb 91 octane.

What would it normally run with this combo? Send a picture of the car.

My junk went to the body shop for a little bit. I swapped converters and picked up a bit, which I figured I would.

Went from this.....

To this...

We have a 3 day 10K race next weekend to get our summer started. Car was really good last weekend, driver not so much. Guess we will go chase it!
