Thanks Formulabruce! The set-up on the balance looked just like your picture, the same curved-slotted plate with the five coned studs!

FYI - For anyone else looking to do this, the bolt-circle for these wheels is 4.75" which you will have to use to set the studs up correctly on the plate.
