Anyone else ever get tired of seeing parts lists that go:

64,65,66,67,69, 70,71,72 ?

I swear it's like the 68 didn't exist sometimes.

I just got the 65-75 illustrated complete parts diagrams and pn listings. I don't think there is one illustration of the 68 in there. Well, I did see the Hurst Dual Gate ...but probably because it was used on the 67 as well.

Not one diagram of the headlight system, or the various other unique 68 parts. They are often listed in the pn listing ... but you're never quite sure if the number is exactly what you want. And half the time the part number listing skips over 68 too. For instance the 68 only timing cover 9790347 ... no where to be found in the part number listings.

This publication was printed in 1983 ... I guess it's possible one of the earlier catalogs had the 68 covered more completely. I think there was one that came out about 1977.

The one I have I bought on a thumb drive ... works great, has lots of info ... but real weak on the 68's. Covers 70-75 pretty well.

I do realize that the parts illustrations are generalized to just point to the group number where the parts numbers can be found ... but some models like the 68 has parts that cannot be described in a general sense. Like the entire headlight system, front bumper etc.

Just venting. You'd think the 68's would be worth a $100,000 as hard as they can be to get the correct parts
