Greg, that was for the "optional" inward folding hood. Think accordion style.
And on another note.... someone really beat the crap out of that car. Kinda like mine was years ago but now fixdacated. Even tho it's in better shape than my first 66 GTO after it rolled over an April snowbank up in the frozen North of NY.

This car has been for sale for many months with no takers. I wonder how much the seller would need to lower the price before someone would buy it.

My favorite features are the bullet holes in the deck lid that look like they came from someone locked in the trunk.
That dealer usually has a lot of stuff on Ebay.
