Glad he is ok , hope for a speedy recovery . It is a dangerous sport and at some point I imagine we all ask ourselves why we do it .

Based on how the whole car looks, it's pretty likely that the SFI-spec chassis with funny car cage saved his life. It's been our experience that all of the expensive safety stuff really proves its worth in a tough situation.

It was a tough weekend at MG. I understand an 8.50 car and ProMod had serious incidences as well.
