Alright, did the install today. Whole thing took less than an hour. I'm pretty fussy about fit and original look. I was going to paint this radiator black more like the orig. but decided against it in the end. It is as close to a direct bolt in as you're likely to find. Comes with a cap and petcock installed.Original cap fits fine. Only mods I had to make: I needed to hog one mounting hole just slightly and there was no boss to accept clips for lower mount of shroud. I jiggered together an acceptable, secure replacement. Temp here in the desert today was 70 degrees. Started up and idled for about half an hour. At first I didn't think I was going to get hot enough to open the thermostat, but it did. On test drive guage showed considerably lower than before. I'm anxious to see how much cooler it will run once we get back up in the triple digits. In short, I'm very satisfied and would recommend this upgrade to anyone.

I installed the Champion 4 row in my '67 bird & had to "massage" a hole or two, but nothing major. My original plan to use a Mark VIII fan wouldn't clear the water pump so I threw an old Black Magic 15" electric fan/shroud on it. This setup leaves about 3-4 inches on each side unshrouded.
Running down the road it stays around 185* - 190*, but once I get in town & hit 3 or 4 stop lights, it will start creeping up to 210* - 220*. I think this more of a shroud issue so I have an aluminum shroud & 2 12" fans on the way for it. They say the 4 row will cool up to 600hp & I'm pretty close that so I'll see how well it works this summer in the Florida heat.

To a lot of people researching aluminum radiator options, it's very confusing at first. Just wanted to bring this to attention for those that stumble upon this topic.
