It shouldn't be too hard to figure out who has it. Its not like everyone has a '69 T/A in their garage.

Not Craig's list, but have to share this one:

Local radio station has a call-in show where one can advertise stuff for free, subject to some rules.

Disposing of a lot of stuff, so called today advertising free space saver spare tires for those restoring old muscle cars. About an hour later, got a call from a gentleman wanting all of my free muscle cars!

His wife heard the ad, and told him I had a dozen free muscle cars. He was actually disappointed that I only had the space saver spare tires. I find it difficult to believe that anyone would think someone was giving away complete muscle cars.

Anyway, good for a laugh!

Jon.

This is my perspective as well.

The car was sold as part of the estate; that person has also passed away and the car is available once again.

Maybe that is why the guy with the engine is trying to cash in.

Hello,
I just wanted to say very cool piece of history you have there. I’m not a buyer (unless the lottery numbers hit this week) but I would love to learn how you came across this motor and history you might have outside of the all the magazines information out there. All of us Pontiac hobbyists love to know more more more!
Thanks

OWNER:
Thanks.
I had purchased this from Mac , he was great and very interesting guy.
He was piece of history on his own.

No. The guy that dealt with Mac directly has passed away. His name was Kent Draper.

This seller is once removed and may have purchased the engine innocently enough (maybe/maybe not).

I would suspect he is well aware of the back story at this point.

Keith, I told him I heard the car was back up for sale and he is asking where, can you share? He said Mac was going to sell him the car but it never happened...

It’s not this one by chance?

Doubtful. Mac's car was blue with dark blue or perhaps black vinyl top. It also had dual mirrors and other options.

That's not it. Mac's car also has a '64 interior in it (complete with '64 GTO wood steering wheel) and 15" wheels.

Nocturne Blue with black vinyl top.

That's actually my photo; I took that at a Widetracker's Dustoff in June of 2008.

Jeff Denison was kind enough to get Mac and the car to the event.

Mac passed away in 2011 so this was probably his last Dustoff.
