I haven't used a PF24 in over 20 years, WIX and NAPA are superior. Our engines didn't come with that Delco blue color filter anyway, they were white originally. I for one would not trust a NOS filter any further than I can throw it. And I please hope nobody runs those garbage Fram filters!

Anyone use a Champion oil filter? I've seen those around.

Ever see what happens to the paper in an old NOS air filter? Some are fine, some turn into toilet paper.

I use Bosch they are good quality and a little smaller for better fit with headers and long branch manifolds. This filter just came off my car and has seen 100psi many times. Sorry about the pictures I didn’t take the life case off first.

The other bad thing about old filters is you can see dust rust I call it inside the filter on the bare metal.
