I don't miss Northern Ny or Vermont. here we only had about 3 inches of snow last weekend. As of today, it's all gone due to the rain we've had.
 And more rain tomorrow. It sure beats below zero weather and lots of snow. I lived thru all that up north before moving here 15 years ago, and I don't miss it one bit. I can live thru 2 and a half months of winter just fine. LOL

Grew up in Spfld Mass. Shoveled a lot of snow in my early life.
 I never had a 4x4 then just a 66 283 powered Caprice with a few sand bags in the trunk, snow tires and posi traction, never had a problem.

Have property in New Mexico but I'm still stuck in Montana. I quit looking at weather reports down there, too demoralizing. We had a "squall" event here 2 nights ago. 0 visibility "snowblind".

"Landon" was underperforming in my neck of the woods, just got done snowblowing the driveways, 3-4 inches is all. The storm "Landon" was billed at 6-11 inches..............
