https://www.fordmuscleforums.com/ Not as busy as this site, but more action than the Ford Barn. (I’m a member of both). Most guys who do post there are into the 60’s era cars, even though they do have other sub forums for modern vehicles and trucks.

Understand the situation. With this in mind and if it would really bother you for years to come, you probably shouldn't buy it unless you can truly verify what it is . Good luck with the investigation.
