Drive gear is what I'd like to see. Didn't realize that the tailshaft had to come out.

If it is a M-20 it would have come with a 6 tooth drive gear. Chances are it was never changed. I think you should try an Ames 21 tooth driven gear, no need to bust open the tranny. Just make sure that the driven gear is the right size for a muncie, the ones for the th400 are much bigger.
