I quit going to swap meets. I end up dragging home stuff that I do not need. Never find anything that I do need....

Just picked up a 1978 Pontiac ash tray.
A guy who sells Pontiac memorabilia called me and had a Fiero coffee mug, has my name on it. Sure I’ll take it I said , lol

So when did GM start using Metric Hardware? I always thought it was with the new B bodies in 77.

Cover stated January 1976. I didn't think it started until the '77 model year also, which is one of the reasons I bought it.
Just looked again. A lot of the bolts listed Opel usage.

Wasn't Chevy importing the Luv pickup by the mid 70s? I faintly recall a friend buying one in 73 or 74.

The only problem is when you see something in your collection, and say ' when did I buy that,I didnt remember when I bought that' ?

Always fun to find good stuff you didn't know you had! I worked in the parts department at a Pontiac dealer from 83-90 and bought all kinds of "fun" parts. Have not looked at them for 35 years and am kind of looking forward to seeing what I have!
