Most do ok with break in time, but special break in oil and going into the engine and pulling and installing inner springs is more than many are willing to do.
I wonder first, if GM still makes the E.O.S., engine oil supplement, and if many folks still add it to oil upon cam break in?

FWIW as I was telling Will (Grivera) the cam savers worked great in my somewhat botched break in. The number 1 exhaust rocker backed all the way off and we couldn’t “hear” it because of the open exhaust. After chasing a skip for a minute we shut it down and found it. That was 10 mins into the break in. Break in was 6300 miles ago. YMMV
