67 Convert 350HO 4-speed on a 3 day No Reserve auction. All too often these wind up as ending before the listing ends, but every once in a while it's legit. Nice car located in Washington. Currently $1500.

69 Firebird shell in Kentucky that claims to be a 4-speed car with fold-down rear seat and includes a parts car. Worth the $1K just for the quarter panels and other sheet metal. Not sure where that dash cam from?

What's that tag on the firewall where the brake booster would be?

I used the 'drag zoom' feature on a couple of the pics...
It says 'KENTUCKY (unreadable) IDENTIFICATION PLATE' and below, 'DEPARTMENT OF VEHICLE (unreadable)'
May have been a junk yard car.

68 Firebird with a 400 hood and Pontiac emblem on the bumper. This has rust, a Camaro shifter and a 389. I think it could be a money pit, but I'm not sure how much NOM 68 400's sell for? Sitting at $7K opening bid. Located n NC.

69 Firebird located in AZ with No Reserve at $56. 6 cyl auto, but as a start if it's not rusted could be what you want it to be in time.

1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible. This car isn't a good deal IMO and it's kinda what I wanted to point out. When building a classic car, in the end you're going to wind up with a car worth something. IMO, if you break even you're doing well. This car, while beautiful, was a bad investment. Why would anyone pay $62.9K for a tribute car? You could probably buy a real 69 T/A for that much. But I digress, as I think this type of car is one I want to build someday, just not do a frame off. It looks like a car that was done with NOS or nice used parts and they paid way too much to make it too perfect. If the drivetrain doesn't match, or it not some rare color combo, then people aren't going to pay a lot for it. Going the repro route isn't a bad idea if it looks good enough. Going all NOS chrome will cost a lot of money. The idea for a car like this is to build the car you would have ordered, without caring about it's original colors (both interior or exterior). If it was me, for a 67 I'd pick a turquoise interior with a white car.

Anyway, the interior on this car looks beautiful and the exterior looks just as good. On a good day, IMO a tribute car like this would be tough to sell for more than $40k. I wouldn't pay more than $32K for it. Agree/Disagree?

I agree on price. I agree that it's a very desirable car. I agree that it's too much for a clone. I disagree on interior color....Aqua/Turquoise would be very nice...but you can't beat a red interior in a white car IMO!

The air cleaner and valve covers scream poser, but the red interior is stunning.

Here’s another one. A 68 convertible with an LS7. When someone puts their spin on a car, its their spin. I don’t like the stripes/wheels/interior on this car, but it has a 6 speed and an LS7, so there’s that… Still $70K? I wouldn’t pay that much, not even close, but I’ll bet there’s someone that might come close (maybe $50K), just because of the LS7. Nice car, but not worth that much... bad investment, but I'll bet it's fun to drive... really fun.

Here's a cool one, a 67 Firebird convert at No Reserve and a Buy-It-Now of just under $20K. This looks like a nice car. Located in CA. I think it's worth it.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river... 75 Pontiac Grand Ville. Seriously, could you even drive this thing, or would driving this thing be awesome? They want $30K. Located in Georgia.

Located in Texas this is a cool car. $12K buy-it-now 79 T/A with a make offer sounds reasonable. Red interior.
