New cam, new valve adjustment. Sometime in the near future.

Sticking with the 1.5 roller rockers.
Is it the Voodoo 2 or 3? Which valve springs are recommended for this? Thanks |

Is there a phone number on the receipts that you can call and verify the parts?

One problem I would have with recommending a cam is I have no idea what the engine's CR is.

On a more serious note, based off knowing we have a 400 with high cranking compression already, and knowing the cam is really small at 204/214 @ .050, and since it's a 4 speed, I'd probably want to jump at least 15 degrees in duration, which would still be very docile to drive.
I wouldn't have any second thoughts of going to either a voodoo 702 or the Crower 60916 |

I'm just poking fun at you Stan
![]() After 20 pages of this, and knowing I'm pretty confident that I as well as a couple others had it figured for too much cranking compression to use pump gas from the get go anyway, I knew a cam swap was going to be in order at the end of the day. I'm not going back through to read it all, lol. |

Even knowing what measured intake centerline generated what PSI would be a great help. |

I asked the people who took over the business and he said it was a standard stroke Pontiac 400.

Since your're getting a new cam and timing chain set with instructions hopefully with tdc verified and right timing cover balancer referenced all works out. when you break in camshaft you will want to stab the distributor 10 degrees advanced and when cranking to break in camshaft have someone on distributor ready to turn it as required to get it fired. alas one step at a time. this requires the some more work but she's a nice looking car and worth it.

What about the springs for these Edelbrock heads to match that '702 or the 60916? |

Does it rev past 3200RPM in neutral/park? Hate to ask the obvious but does it bog only when driving without an air cleaner?

Was this correct? With L2262FSTD pistons? With standard block?

All the time. Very consistent. Same thing at same rpm. Nothing external changed a thing.
