There are alot wrong with that car if it is a Sprint, painted air cleaner lid, if it has a 3-speed automatic its not a numbers matching drive train, only a 2-speed automatic was available with a OHC-6 from 66-68, a TH-350 was optional in the 1969 model year, but very few where made that way.

Another 68 Firebird convertible in Michigan at $32K BIN. The restoration isn't very good in a lot of ways, but for $18K less than the one above this, it's a better deal.

71 GTO with a Chebby 396 at $11.5K BIN in Pennsylvania. If I had a 71 Lemans or GTO that needed a drive train, this one looks solid, like they went with the mechanicals first.
