I'm local and available to go take a look if anyone is interested in it.

However, I may not be able to keep a straight face while talking to the owner for you.

Only 9 g's? what a deal!
I was a GM at a Pontiac dealership in 1989, we sold those new for $5995.00 w no air, in Texas. Omg Wat a bucket of junk but they sold because they were cheap and had a warranty.

That line, "paint on hood and roof has faded, although sides are good," cracks me up.

And he has this too..... 1964-67 Pontiac GTO NOS Quarter Emblem # 9775669 in white.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-67-Pont...-/111797663152

It's for the grill not rear quarter. Rear quarters are black on 65, 66, and 67.

For that price the car must have gold in it plus it's Mecum material. LOL

Sure looks like a Pontiac engine to me... Price is too steep but really, a pretty nice looking '67!

NADA book value on this car is $74-94,000. Haggarty book value on this car is in that same ball park. We are asking $65,000 or best offer. No offers below $55,000 will be considered. Cash sales only.
How does he expect anyone to come up with $55K-$65K cash when most banks won't let you withdraw more than 5-10K.
Sounds like his price is based soley on NADA's unrealistic inflated values. To top that off, this gto has the undesirable column shifted automatic.
Good luck finding a millionaire with closets full of money to buy your car.

If my bank wouldn't let me withdraw more than 10K, I'd get a different bank.

Might have to do some paperwork, but they should let you do it.

Really? Is this what the market is now? $65K for a car with a faded carpet, cracked dash, AC car with no AC and a Chevy motor?

Those things are indeed VERY heavy. Back in college, I moved into a room that had one sitting in the corner. Doing an "upright roll" with it down the hall, out the door, and into the alley was a feat!
