69 Judge in Indiana at $30K BIN. Looks like someone found whatever could fit on it and had it painted. 68 doors and seller says it has a 70 dash? Engine is not NM and out of a 70.

That PHS is super suspect. Likely photoshopped...

Agree
Rally2 wheels were standard on Judge , and wouldn't be charged on the invoice.

The invoice doesn't match the window sticker either .... Damn

242379P366201 68/69/70 GTO with faked documents needs to be tagged for search engines.
The rehashed window sticker is from an early Pattern Judge , as another footnote.
Jim at PHS confirmed the Invoice is manipulated also.
Not a real Judge.

Needs to be tagged on the Registry also , or removed.
Would serve the community better to rubber stamp it as a fake. imo

That Judge should be saved and properly restored. Its listed on the registry as the last Pontiac built Judge. Was an oddball but probably a stunner in Warwick Blue with dark blue vinyl top. Not sure Ive ever seen that color combo before

69 Firebird 4-speed in Georgia at $65K. All the ad states about the engine is that it's a V8 (Chevy). It's a nice enough car, but very overpriced. The custom stipes and shackles are what jump out to me, but again, it's nice enough, maybe at 40% of the asking price.

Clean car, but Chevy stripes to match the engine. Guy should have just got a Camaro

Not on eBay, but:

The comments are fairly astute. Shame on Gateway Classics for not being more forthcoming in the listing.

Out of all the online classic car sellers, I find Gateway Classics' listings to generally be way overpriced for the vehicle's condition. I would never buy from them without a thorough in-person (or reputable 3rd party) inspection. I see a lot of their listings over and over for long periods of time, so I'm not sure they sell many cars for their outrageous asking prices

Maybe they have such a high mark up that they dont care.

This. I plan on selling a car through them soon. I can drop it off and have them sell it. If I ask way too much, they'll prolly run the ad and see what comes back. If it doesn't sell and gets no offers, the seller has to come down. If the seller refuses, then it doesn't sell, but they keep it on the lot. I don't want to deal with lookly loos and test drivers, but I don't care if they do. If I want the car to sell I'll drop the asking price. What I can't stand is the generic verbiage in the ads that don't define the critical data, like the PHS, engine specs etc.

Their prices are so insane, I always figured they’re listing at double what they’d sell it for. Anyone who pays their asking without doing any homework kinda deserves it.

Agreed, but if you were the seller and a sucker bought in, great! The car below has listed many times and typically only maxes out at $11K. (use "advanced search" and ended listings). Chevy engine, abstract paint and a 69 Camaro interior. The dealer gets to keep it on the lot and the seller is in no hurry to sell this abomination of a 69 Firebird at $33K. The hobby reaches out to all, and if this car is your idea of cool, great! But when it's time to sell, you have to find someone who shares your dream. It's really on the seller to lower the bar if they want it to sell. My guess is the dealer will keep it for a while, but eventually will move it off the lot if expectations are unrealistic.

Another Chevy engine 67 Firebird priced way too high in CO at $50K. I think I remember that dent, but after awhile they all start to look the same.

72 Firebird in Nevada at $5K NR. Nevada car is a big plus. Seller claims to have $25K into it. 9/10 cars like this with NR get pulled before the end of the auction, as there's no penalty for doing that on eBay.

80 turbo T/A pace car with 63K miles in NH at $3K NR. Cool thing about the turbo Trans AMs is you can put whatever engine you want in it and don't have to mess with the shaker.
