Sits pretty high in the rear and notice that front shaker picture showing the decal placement. Would like to see that Dealer Invoice for the conversion

It would be the best of both worlds if they had that I would think. Have the A/C and the 4spd too! Without it I don't necessarily think it kills the value.

Default SD cam shaft

Here's a couple of pictures of my SD 455 cam shaft, I wrapped it up for storage and possible future use. It was included in an engine rebuild back in the 80's before I owned the car. From the numbers can you tell if it is a factory spec SD cam or something else. Just curious! Thanks 493323 CRANE BN2655 1674

493323 is the factory number for the SD cam.
I would think it is a stock replacement cam for the SD?

Maybe measure the lobes and see what the lift might possibly be?

Might be a 'high lift' type of stock cam replacement.

Anyone know of a recent 12k mile 73 SD 4 spd sale in MN or WI?

Met the buyer yesterday via life's travels and he lives next town over from me. Talked and chatted for a bit hoping to see it and do some shots w/ my SD when it arrives. Should be heading to NJ any moment from what I understand.

Figured someone needs to know about this. Purchase price was fair and solid.

I traded parts with John Herslow on a few occasions. yes they did try many cams. I have the last and the fastest the car went. Never have used it-he said the car would 'pop' thru carb.He had his own dyno he told me so maybe 'in all' he had that much. They seemed to 'work' a lot to make their cars a success. Their Super stocker, their 4cld dragster and he did have some V parts for Super Mod he told me.

Nice. What color is it?

When it gets here we'll have to have an SD party. Maybe I can get my neighbor to bring his green/white original paint 73 out, too. :-)

Hell yeah steve! Thats the fellow from or works in Lebanon right? Dave is his name?

Be neat if this one coming is red. red , white, blue and green. All with original paint or whats left of it . That has to be media print worthy. I am not sure of the color. May be white. Not sure if he mentioned that.
