What amazes me is when people assume that a combo and car that performs above average is an all out max effort price. That is not the case most of the time. It must comfort the guys that say that are far short of their potential. But it keeps them from trying any harder too.

At a HEAVY 3,100+ POUNDS (Frank G's ROLLERSKATE is 2,300 pounds) and ONLY 9 lbs of boost (yes TOM passenger cars out of Detroit run MORE BOOST) added with my engines very MILD roller cam an 8.15 ET is a DAMN good ET. I GARRENTEE you that Jack and his little buddy Gilligan (and some of their GROUPIES) engines compaired to mine are WAY more RADICAL (yes JACK you have/had WAY, WAY more money in your E Heads then I have in my HP heads).
Frank no offence you know I like your car, just stating facts for the KIDS LOL!!
Yes Thomas I PICK my races like any RACER does. I like to go to 2 or 3 day races (where I can BEAT my car up) and to tracks I haven't been to yet.
For a side note Tom the WHOLE Muppet gang can't run low 7's so I'm thinking that Super Stock Tasca car would SKULL drag them down the track also!! As for Milan it's a JUNK track, thats why on a NORMAL weekend they don't get DI_K for cars.........................they all go to Norwalk to race!!

This response tells me to get it, but deny it. Its obviously selective objectivity.

Franks car is na...you have a BIG AZZ SUPERCHARGER! NOT THE SAME. you cant compare the worst attributes of your car to the best of anyone else's to make your point. If frank had a 8-71 he'd be well in the 6s.

Like I said theres nothing wrong with your car, I kinda like it. But its not as fast as one would expect given the combo and parts, the performance does not compute for the sum of the parts. It does not look good trying to compare it to cars that run surprisingly good ets for the combo.

If it makes you feel better to say when yours was broke you still drove it in the trailer ok. Not sure the relevance.

Damn Mike you are slow you keep calling my car a lite weight/roller skate I was just bringing up a real roller skate not a heavy weight like mine. 3,100 is hardly a lite weight. Also an 8-71 is not a BIG AZZ Blower it's actually middle of the pack.....now a 14-71 that's a BIG AZZ BLOWER, of course you know that.
Mike show me another car at 3,100 lbs that ONLY run 9 lbs of boost that is QUICKER? Ain't going to happen.
Your turn!

Don't make me boost mine. It would be heavier and faster guaranteed.

LOL! that will not be a problem George I can guarantee that too. be careful what you wish for.....I may just do it. If i can make 1000 na what makes you think i would fail at adding more power with a compressor? these are the posts we are referring to. You might have your buddy john agreeing with you but there likely no one in the know that would think that besides you.

I'm done, you are choosing to be this way regardless how it makes you look.

No truer words have been posted.

George, why don't you just stick to being a VERY GOOD "bracket racer" where you dial back your power to be competitive against the area guys and be happy with that?
The 9 psi of boost brag really doesn't buy you anything in the boost forum.

Just a suggestion. Be happy with your deal and run your races.

So if you broke the snout off the Moldex Crankshaft (or did you just crack it), it must have been interesting driving the car on to the trailer like you posted?

You would have thought the some of the ECM guys would have helped you push it up on the trailer.

Tom,
Yes I broke the snout right off! Drove it up on my ramps then used my winch..............I have a pit crew, my Wife! Actually Bracket Racing is probably one of the HARDEST types of Drag Racing out there! I've done the heads up thing before, Bracket racing is MUCH harder! Of course you would know this if you actually drag raced. LOL! Not BRAGGING about ONLY running 9 lbs of boost to run very LOW 8's........just a FACT! I'm not dialing back any power just haven't dialed it up yet. It's nice to know I have another 240-300 hp still on tap! As for racing only
Locally..........it depends on your definition of locally. My definition is up to 75 miles that would be local. Seems the closest strip I've been to lately is Norwalk it's 130 miles.

Bracket racing harder then heads up racing?

LMFAO!

I don't think you have a clue.

I would say that the crankshaft from Moldex was a good one (You raced the thing for 14 years, right). Cooper broke the snout off of at least one crank (from someone) in less than a year in one engine I believe. Course his deal has the ability to go 6s too. Speaking of that, He might have actually ran a 6 second time but do that see that listed on the 6 second sheet. He doesn't post on PY.

Never said it was easy to bracket race but never had ANY interest in that deal.

Maybe your deal can't really handle the extra 240-300 hp. Your deal is really pretty basic. If a Drag Mustang with a 275 Tire at 3000 weight can run 6s, it doesn't seem to be a tire or weight issue. More like a chassis issue or a driver issue...... Maybe you could ask one of the ECM boys or Mike Leech to drive it for you if they felt really brave.

See anything worthwile at Autorama? Not worth the parking to me.

Good Luck with your race program George.

Looks like at least 3 ECM cars are ready to skull drag you down the track this year.
(or at least try to), LOL!

I will give you that Tommy Boy as I called you georgie in a post recently.

Personally I could give a rip about a race. ALL of you guys are SLOW vs the typical Mustang PA Guy!
