Here are some pics of my 71 under construction. Never did like the red oxide primer look. Rustoleum satin black looks better to me. Not trying to do a correct resto. Just a nice restomod. 455 HO, Nunzi ported 197 heads, Comp extreme energy 268H cam, Keith Black "zero dome" pistons, 9.1:1, 70 455 Ram Air block, Ram Air Restorations oversized manifols, Flowtech headpipes into Flowmaster system with stainless tips, L88 torque converter, HD turbo 400, 12-bolt with 3.08:1 Eaton posi. Rear disc brakes. Going to be Cameo white w/ blue stripe kit. It is an original 71 t/a that I bought as an abandoned resto. No motor, trans or interior.

Default My new project 73 T/A

Although it has the decals of a 71/72, it has been my brother in-laws car when bought new and he changed the decals and added the H.O. on the shaker hood. It needs allot of TLC.
Thanks for all your input about getting me to purchase this. Now as I ask myself what did I get myself into, I hope to take my time and have fun trying to get this back into its stock shape as when I first saw it in High school as he picked up my sister for a date.LOL

I saw Streetkings car on the DSE web page. Looks like he added a few new things.

Cliffhanger , Thanks .

The rims are out of production Weld Draglite XP's .

The seats are reclining summit racing buckets.

I dont think i have newer interior pictures with the seats. I'll have to see what i have.

thanx for the info beebee!

wow, that engine looks great! where did you get that filter, i'd like to get one when my engine arrives, but I noticed the hood clearance problem. so i am looking one that actually will fit. did you notice performance increase with non-standard filters or not? am dubbing since I also have a functional formula ram air hood I think it'da be good to find a ram air filter?

anyway, also noticed the chromed dynamo[or is it called alternator?] and intake, how did you do that? looks awesome!

Default Stance...

I like the stance too Beebe, what front and rear springs are you using? What size of tires and wheels, and what offset are your wheels? Nice and low with wheel well clearance!

Mine is similar stance but I don't care for the tire/wheel size. They are only temperary until I can afford the 18" I want... Posted my pic earlier, but here it is again.

Can someone help me as I am relatively new here? Where do you go to add the picture by your name when you post and how do I attach a picture when I post? When I hit the add picture button I am taken to a box that asks for a URL and I am trying to put in a picture from my hard drive not a website?!?! When I click on the paper clip, add file icon nothing happens. Thanks.

Default sure...

Select Manage Attachments, another window should appear. Then select "Browse..." near the top of the picture. This should open a window where you can browse/search/ and select the picture on your hard drive. When done there, hit upload (top one so your not using the URL upload). Toward the bottom of the screen should tell you the status of the attachment, can't be real big (300k I think).

Hope that helps... I haven't used the signature option yet...
