It has been a bad week for me. I just didn't feel like doing anything. We started a renovation Wednesday that required a lot of heavy labor and that is something I can't do much of anymore. But, I can use the money.
Don't give up on me, I will get back on the car soon.

Man, time is flying by! It seems like I just posted yesterday. That being said, I have nothing new to report.
The weather is miserable. Also, I don't want to turn loose any money until I get my taxes filled out on the 24th of this month. I don't know what to expect this year. It looks like another week of poor weather ahead. Hopefully, it will warm up after that.

I had to move the car out of my shop and put it in my garage to make room for a woodworking project. I ahve to build 4 8" tall columns for my Florist friend. So, nothing new to report on the car except that it sure felt good to drive it, even if it was only 100 feet! I still managed to get a wheel with it!

You sure missed some good car working weather yesterday. Beautiful...Of course, that means I was at work. Oh well, at least I got the plastic off my engine and got the water pump installed in the evening..

I just re-read my post and noticed an error. It should have read "4 8' columns" not 4 8" ones".

Well, the columns are finished and I got the car moved back to the shop. Now, the customer has to come pick them up. I have a few small jobs to do next week. Hopefully the weather will warm up and I can do something to the old goat.
Maybe the warm weather will lift my spirits too. I am still relly bummed out about my brother. He is the third one I have lost but, I was closer to him than the others. Now, I have one brother left, no sisters, so I will try to keep in touch with him on a regular basis. Sorry to run on about my problem but Y'all are my second family and it helps to get it out.

Y'all won't believe this but I actually did something to the car last week. I rehung the front fenders and the hood. That was after spending a whole day cleaning my shop up!
And, I got to meet another PYer when he picked up a passenger side door for his GTO. It was a pleasure to do business with 67droptop. and, it sounds like he is going to have an awesome ride! So, I spent $5.00 on some plastic nuts for the inner fenders and worked 4 hours hanging the metal. By the way, installing a hood is not a one man job but with a ton of towels and rags I was able to get it on without any damage. Here are the latest totals: My labor at 390 hrs..........$7,800.00 Parts ............................$8,054.24 Outside labor .................$6,221.00 Gifts ............................$1,159.52 Total ..........................$23,234.76

I know that for a fact. I've done it three or four times on my car and every time, I'm afraid I'll wrench my back. We ain't gettin' any younger you know and it's NOT easy.
