Calling Steve will be well worth it. Great guy and his attention to detail is second to none. Scott does great work as well. I live close to Scott and I would still use Steve.

I thought Tom Fischer moved to Georgia to pursue another career? I didn't think he was still in the resto game. His long-time business partner has taken over Muscle Car Alley, Tom's old shop, in upstate New York - and still doing great work...my '70 is there.

Boy, the trio of 1974 SD TA's didn't get any love in Chicago. Two only bid to $50K, and the other to $65K. All were no sale - bid goes on....

All nice cars, the red one looks to be more original than the others. why bidding so low?
the 4 speed SD should have at least reached 75k. |

Looked at those 74 SD and 50k was good money for them. Nothing to get excited about there.
71 Formula hood closed but Norwood needed to see hood latch, and what a ruff engine bay... Good money for the one of none ram air 71 400 Porsche silver formula!

I was not there. Now I know why bids were low.
I just figured the 4 speed car would get more attention. |

I didn't see anything that proved a OEM 4 speed? Not just that car but they all had stories. The really good ones don't sell there. The pimped up ones maybe...

Craig,
I was there and did not see you !!!! I was in the grand stands on the top by the camera stand to the right of the people who took the phone bidders calls.I left after car #140 crossed the block. After seeing that mess I am so glad I did not take my SD Formula there to sell.Could'nt believe that a 77 T/A would ever sell for over $70K. |

I went for about two hours Friday night mainly to see the Super Duty's. Wasn't much of a turnout Friday night. Surprised about that '77 as well.
