Dang you have Dwight out of the top 4. Hopefully he'll prove you wrong, although there is very stiff competition at the top of that class.

Bradenton has better air then Georgia. If you put Dwights motor in a late model, it would pick up .05, that would put him in the top 4. Remember, Dwight is competing against BIG money, not other Pontiac racers. The rules in that class are catered to a SBF in a mustang.

Do it. I'll meet you there with mine in about 4 weeks. Then you won't need a car.

From the looks of the fireterd for sale section it looks like you have a bunch of rotted out junk.

why, because its not pretty? Sure I could take it down to Ron and have the chassis updated and have him paint it, but why if Im trying to sell it?

Maybe I should buy your car instead? I wouldn't want to spend the $200,000 you have into it and its not even legal to run in Pro Mod, which is what it is.

late model only helps w MPH, its been proven in NHRA Super Stock vs GT. NMCA gives weight breaks to early cars. If I had a 64-65 GTO I could weight under 2800#

I just came up with a brilliant idea. Why doesnt Mike put my engine and transmission in his car? That will remove all variables.

you are right, NMRA guys made the rules to attract their guys. Fords used to be able to use 15 degree heads while Chevys were stuck w 23 degree heads. This is why I don't race in classes with pencil written rules.

Ss gt are slower cars. I know of 3 Nmca cars that went from nostalgia body style to late model and they all picked up et and mph even with having to add the weight give to the older cars.

Sounds like a little bit bigger weight break is needed for older cars. Gets old just seeing mustangs run.

Different engine builders. Different programs. Stanton, kemp and Bowles all went to the late model. They all went faster.

Either the Pontiac needs another 50 off or the nostalgia needs another 50 off. At these speeds 100 pounds isn't .1. It is more like .07. 30 hp isn't .1. It is more like 45

Brilliant? That's one thing you're not. You've exhausted all squirming options. Now you want it in my car.

The dyno was a better idea. Lol

Stanton went from a Chevelle that really wasn't built to go that fast to a pretty good 4th gen Camaro. More chassis than body.

Don't know much about Kemp, besides he use to complain a lot

wasn't Bowles Maverick a 100 years old

Stanton went from the Chevelle to a camaro. Then rebuilt the Chevelle because the nostalgia weight break wasn't necessary he took the drivetrain out of the camaro and put it in the newly rebuilt Chevelle and slowed down a dime and like 3 mph. By seasons end he built another camaro. All cars were fresh builds out of the chassis shop. All cars had the latest and greatest parts.

I'm serious if you wanna meet at Tony's.

Back to back days. Loser pays two days dyno. 4-5 weeks I'll be there anyway.
