The rust in trunk is epic, maybe worth it? Damned if I am working this weekend, probably a good thing.
If the frame and rockers are solid, that might be worthwhile. Could be a nice looking car. Hard to imagine that the rust is only that bad in the trunk ...although roof and floors look pretty good in pics. Worth looking at I think...

That car is well worth the $2k in parts alone.

Agreed, the front clip is worth the asking price, Northwest cars rust out from sitting water not salt so this one probably rotted out around the rear window channel, and water leaked into the trunk and rear seat foot wells and just sat there. Looks like it was stored outside for years.
When I lived in the Everett WA area in the early 80's I looked at a lot of GTO's that had the same rust issued. I usually passed on them back then because there were better cars available, but now I would probably make an offer on this one if I were close.

+1 on way too much money. He’s going to have that listed for a looong time at that price.

My dad had an ‘86 Cutlass. It was such a POS that it ruined American cars as daily drivers for me for a long time. (I just now bought my first - a GMC.).

At least he’s honest that the A/C doesn’t work. As my old man can testify- it’ll never work right.

Interesting he calls it a Coupe and never mentions if it's a clone GTO or Lemans. I'm guessing maybe LeMans may be too much effort to spell.

This is actually Epay but the same rules apply.
For the low low price of what a real one cost, you could get this.

Not a Mopar expert, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t make convertible super birds. That’s up there with the ‘68 “Judges” that appear occasionally.

In the sellers defense, the ad does say that it started out as a Satellite. But that asking price is getting close to what original's bring.

So, if I read this correctly, he is admitting that he stole all the parts except the nose cone

Another dreamer I offered 1,000 , he won’t answer questions or take better pictures , front bumper is wasted , grills look to be broken out , interior is trashed , who know if he has all the parts. Says he has another black dash But won’t send pictures of it. His original add said the hood was worth 800 to 1000. Now he doesn’t even mention the hood so I can assume it’s junk He told me. A guy came by and told him about the rusty subframe.
Heres the add : https://swmi.craigslist.org/cto/d/19...499977082.html

He sticking to 1800 for the car.
I was just buying it to part it out
