Everyone has their take on it, I see it as being held accountable for what you say.

Its the internet, if you say something someone will make you prove it.

Don't be so cynical.

Not when he redid it... It was low and lean. Weighed 75 pounds less then the camaro and went a dime slower.

I'm certainly a Dwight fan!!

Catered to a mustang? I'm not sure about that. I think by the time NMCA came out with class, there was still a lot of mustangs out there in NMRA.

NMCA have the best rules I have seen to create parity between many different types of cars and engine combinations. A lot of other organizations with "more simple" rules are now facing the issue with loopholes and starting the rethink their ideas.

That has been tried before. Don't think it ever worked in NMCA P/S? Nostalgia weight break for a 70 Chevelle would have to be different than for a 1969 MG.

I believe the car's suspension and setup show more of the ET, but the MPH can be sometimes be 2 or 3.

Another 50 for Pontiac? I'm a Pontiac fan but they already have 150 off the BBC and came in 2nd place this past year?

Exactly as described.

Thats why I said 50 for the Pontiac or another 50 for the nostalgia body style. 25 pounds for me and Dwight doesnt level the field for us. At the end of the day we can either race at a disadvantage or build modern pipe. The choice is purely up to us. In all reality it should be another 25-50 for the nostalgia. Put my motor in Kemps car and it could get ugly...

Maybe I should buy your car instead? I wouldn't want to spend the $200,000 you have into it and its not even legal to run in Pro Mod, which is what it is.
PROMODSTTFMF!

I'll admit I have a car(s) problem.

The Ford biased rules are why some people put Ford engines in GM cars. They allowed the 7721 Edelbrock Ford head 15 degree as cast, when the Chevys were restricted to 23 degree heads. Edelbrock makes a 15 degree head for Chevy but that was not on the list. Ive worked for the NMCA and NMRA. I know behind the curtain decisions.

Skeet and Baskin might try 5 different engine combinations during the year. Just for fun.

I agree, your "memory" failed you again vs "Typical internet talking out my ass w no real data".

As you and others can easily see Bruce M DID race in NMCA and did stomp your brother's ass on many occasions.
You are forgiven as far as "Typical internet talking out my ass w no real data" because this whole thread is just winter entertainment. No blood, no fouls just blimp air.

Bruce was running 10s in NMCA Real Street, never ever beat Neal in NMCA Real Street. I was there at every race. Bruce went to NSCA w BES 515 and Super Chief heads which weren't allowed in NMCA. Neal had the fastest Pontiac in Real Street ever.

Ive known Bruce since he was in high school and drove a 74 Camaro, I got him to Pontiacs.

I don't know why you are starting **** between me my brother and my friend.

Lots of PMs from others to me saying otherwise. I commented on YOUR statement that Bruce never ran in NMCA. Period, Karl.

Bruce went to NMCA races but not with a good real race engine, stock block homebuilt stuff. When he had BES build a real race engine, he raced in NSCA. Neal tried to get NMCA to allow the Super Chiefs but they wouldn't allow them but B1 and W8 Mopar heads were OK.

During Bruce's change over, I bought his Cal trac's, mono springs, shocks and rearend.

Those parts are all in use now in different cars.

Bruce is a good guy.

I was there when the NMCA split up and NSCA was formed, I raced both in nss.
Neal was the fastest and he never bragged.

My exwife just sent me this contingency check from Atlanta 1998.

I was actually really there. I was in the NMCA office just got hired as a tech guy, was ready to move to Memphis and Hot Rod/Petersen just bought NMCA. They wound up hiring Alan Scrimager who had hired me so I still had a job but not full time in Memphis.

Hot Rod and their people completely ruined the NMCA
