I'm pretty sure that that yellow GTO ragtop was on CL in Arizona about a year or two ago, for less than half of current asking price. It looked like a super clean mostly unmolested but tired car. Great value at the time but current pricing seems unrealistic, however they did add that crappy wing.

73 Firebird in Las Vegas with a reserve. It has a 76 Firebird formula hood, which is a one year only hood. This was a popular mod back in the 80's and 90's because it was easy, as it just bolts on.

77 Trans AM in Montana at $6.5K NR. If you had a Firebird and wanted to make a Trans AM clone, this would be a great start. Those fenders, hood and nose will bolt on any 74 - 81 Trans AM, if 77 is what you like. Lots of good parts and the horse collar interior is pretty clean. The rust scares me away, but if you bought the whole car, you'd get the suspension and rear end too.

60 Pontiac Catalina at $85K in Delaware. I tend to stick to 69-80 Firebirds, but I appreciate the work that went into this. I can only imagine how much all that chrome was on the engine. I've never seen a chrome water pipe before. I like it. Not my jam, but I think it's cool.

Shark goat, like the colors, just loose the wheels (including the steering wheel!).

2010 "Trans AM" based on a 2010 SS Camaro 6-speed with a reserve in Florida. I bought my 2010 2SSRS 6-speed when it had just under 20K miles, and now it's pushing 90K. I only drive it when there's no chance of snow, but it's been a terrific car. Mine is black (like 55% of them are) and I swapped out the black seats for set of low mileage red ones. Floor the pedal in first and you'll hit the redline at 50 mph. Immediately let off the gas and shift into second, and you'll be going 60 mph. I always viewed this driving aggressively while merging onto a 65 mph highway. 426 HP is no joke and mated to a 6 speed short-throw shifter, it's very fun to drive. Love it or hate it, it's a thing.

78 Pontiac Sunbird at $6K BIN in Texas. A common feature in Car Craft, cars like the Sunbird/Vega were popular cars back in the day, because it wasn't too hard to put a SBC in one. If you did, they were pretty damn fast just due to power/weight ratio. Rumor had it in my hometown that someone dropped a Pontiac 455 in one and did a burnout so hard it bent the frame. That has to be true, because some dude named Dave told it was. The car has a Corvette engine and a lot of trunk space. Would make a great work vehicle.

The red one looks pretty Starsky and Hutchlike... oldies.

That Silver Sunbird Safari has the one year only 1979 Grills, Very few were made with those. All it took to but a SBC into a Vega/Astre was a Monza V8 doner car. It gets a bit trickier without one.
I would like to see a Astre or Sunbird with any Pontiac V8 installed (other than the short deck 301 or 265) As I played with putting a spare 326 into a Astre many years ago, I just dont think it would fit without major surgery, probably using a Tube chassis front end. I found they surprised people with just a warmed up Buick 3.8 in them. 220-250 hp at 1800lbs, and 3.73-4.10 rear gears they would run mid 13's in the 1/4. They were fun. and not to common today.

70 Trans AM in NC at $63K BIN. Nice car. Says it has 47K miles. A black interior on a white 70 T/A is uncommon, as most of them were blue IMO.
