Rock:

Is that a real RA III car? Auto or manual. It appears to be all original. My first Formula was a 1970 "Keylime Green Poly" Formula (non ram air), w/ dark green interior and dark green top. It was the best performing of the four 70-72 Formulas (although none were 455's) I have owned.

Spotted that one on the 'bay last night & can't say as I care much for the car, itself (although it seems to be reasonably well done)

BUT,that one picture you posted REALLY LOOKS GOOD!

I'll bet a Keylime Green 70 T/A with white stripes would have sold WELL,back in the day.

That was Chevrolets "feature color" for the 70 & 71 Z28 (with black stripes).

It looks like the seller is REAL PROUD of the sound system,& NOT the engine.
I know it's just a chevvy (& who cares) but there's NO underhood/chassis pics.
You kind of expect some for that asking price, wouldn't you?

Thanks for the compliment on the green formula, it's NON ram air (what a shame) cali car built in van nuys. I bought it sight unseen over the net and in the photos the car looks spectacular! when it arrived the car had several shades of green and many missing parts under the hood. But after my intial "mild stroke" and several grand in parts I was able to recover. I was looking for about a year and when I saw the photos I couldn't refuse.
It has the best interior I have ever seen in an early bird. The body is near perfect, the floors are in a condition that Toronto Canada has never seen. And the colour, green, I hate green but I had a 69 gto rag that was the same colour and it grew on me. This colour in my opinion best represents the early seventies.
My younger days were spent around pontiacs and this is my only poncho at the moment. When time permits I will install the missing parts and have a nice green bird.

I looked at that car too rock lmao......Heck I passed because I thought there was a 70 RA III down at the Nat's that I wanted....turned out not to be the car for me...

Upon returning to Toronto I called your seller and he said it sold,,,,just forgot to mention it was a fellow enthusiast from Toronto lol.

I did end up buying a 70 Formula (and a few other too lol) so we'll have to try and hook up sometime in the spring at one of the local shows and say hello..

I kind of like the green, make you wonder if pontiac would have made this color and other, how would they have done, I had a 71 or 71 base bird that was a red rock sand copper color, not sure of the name, I regret getting rid of it, I like the color, I can picture it now with a set of TT2 and a black or white stripe .
